About the workplace The 32nd Garrison Battalion is a support function for the Helicopter Wing and part of the combat unit 3rd Air Wing. The battalion includes functions for logistics, medical care, and training, with its main operational location in Linköping. The battalion consists largely of civilian employees and carries out its tasks across the entire conflict spectrum. The 32nd Garrison Battalion is a workplace under development, where new functions, units, and tasks are added over time. Main responsibilities As a personnel officer at the 32nd Garrison Battalion, you will support the battalion's commanders at both operational and administrative levels. Being a close operational support to the commanders is a significant part of the job, both regarding individual cases and more general issues. In addition, you will independently and in collaboration with the battalion leadership lead and develop various HR projects. Other tasks may include training initiatives, participation in the combat unit's exercise and operational activities, as well as general staff work. Travel may also be required as part of the job. Qualifications • Academic education in HR/personnel administration or relevant work experience deemed equivalent. • Experience in providing consultative support to managers in personnel matters, preferably within public sector operations. • Strong ability to express oneself verbally and in writing. • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite. Meritorious • Completed military basic training. • Experience in public sector operations, preferably within the state sector. • Experience of work or service within the Swedish Armed Forces. • B driver's license. Personal qualities We are looking for someone who has the ability to work independently and has a good capacity to structure their work. You recognize what needs to be done within your area of responsibility and develop the operations. You possess good communication and collaboration skills and build and maintain trusting relationships. You see the bigger picture and can work with a wide variety of tasks, even outside your main area of work, and can make thoughtful prioritizations.
