We are currently seeking several new employees for fixed-term positions at our preschools in Leksand Municipality, pending necessary decisions.
Your Responsibilities
As an educator, you will be part of the preschool team, primarily consisting of preschool teachers and child caregivers. Using the curriculum as a foundation, you will create a safe, enjoyable, and educational environment for our children. Your role involves working with a group of children while ensuring that each individual child receives challenges that match their experiences and knowledge. You will work daily to stimulate the children's learning and development through teaching planned according to the curriculum's objectives. You will also maintain contact with parents and participate in educational documentation.

Your Profile
• We are looking for someone with prior experience in educational work.
• Good proficiency in the Swedish language.
As a person, you have the ability to contribute to development and take clear responsibility in your work, adapting easily to changing circumstances. You create joy, security, and calmness both within the team and among the children. You have an interest in creating clear educational environments and understand the importance of making materials accessible to spark curiosity in children. You are also a team player who collaborates well with your surroundings, exercises judgment in your statements, and understands your role while considering the overall best interests of the organization in your actions and decisions.

About the Workplace
Leksand Municipality has eight preschools spread from Tällberg in the north to Djura in the south. Approximately 80 educators work in our preschools to promote all children's development and learning, laying the foundation for a lifelong love of learning. The preschool operations also include a special educator, an administrator, three principals, and a department head. Collaboration exists with primary and secondary schools, enhancing the quality of education and connecting the municipality's various school forms.
