In addition, there are pension plans, vacation, occupational health services, insurance, and salary exchange options. **All About Your Benefits** **Job Description** Patient Logistics (Patient Transport and Bed Central) is part of Logistics and Service within the TUFF organization (Technology, Development, Property, and Supply) at Danderyd Hospital. We are the extended arm of healthcare at the hospital. The primary task of Patient Transport is to ensure that patients are transported safely and securely between departments. Patient transports occur around the clock, every day of the year. We collaborate with healthcare and all units within the hospital, which places high demands on us as colleagues to deliver excellent service and a professional approach. We are looking for someone with a passionate interest in service and the ability to be empathetic. In this role, you will primarily work in Patient Transport, but you should also be able to work in the Bed Central, as we are one and the same unit. Therefore, you should also be interested in janitorial work with varying tasks within the Patient Logistics unit. Your work will also involve being active in improvement initiatives and changes occurring within the department. Improvement efforts are something we place great emphasis on and allocate time for within the operation. The role of Patient Transporter also includes tasks such as: - Transporting deceased individuals - Internal transport of samples, blood, and emergency gas - Handling patient carts and hospital beds - Assisting in the Bed Central - Flagging (raising and lowering flags on the hospital grounds) - Transport coordination (this is a task/role that can be offered after a period of work and if you meet the requirements according to the role description) The position is located in Danderyd. Patient Transport is staffed Monday to Sunday, 24/7, throughout the year. **Qualifications** - Relevant experience in previous service roles, at least 5 years - Computer skills in Microsoft Office - Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written - Experience working in a hospital environment **Meritorious:** - Education and/or documented experience in healthcare. **Personal Attributes** We believe you are someone who possesses a strong sense of service, empathy, and values providing excellent customer service. You should have experience in service work and preferably have worked in healthcare. You need to be computer literate and able to handle Office programs, as well as be quick to learn the data systems we use for case management. You also have excellent communication skills and the ability to build good relationships. We see that you are good at taking personal responsibility/initiative while also recognizing the value of following routines. You need to be able to work independently as well as easily collaborate in a team. In this role, you must also be able to handle occasionally intense work peaks and prioritize tasks effectively. Having good physical fitness is very advantageous as this job is physically demanding.
