About the Role and Your Tasks
We are now seeking seasonal employees for park maintenance in the city of Lund and surrounding villages.
You will work on tasks including weed removal, lawn mowing, trimming, hedge cutting, sweeping, watering, planting, and pruning. The position involves both manual and machine-based work. The season runs from April to October with working hours from 07:00-15:45. You will be part of a work team, collaborating in small groups and also working independently. We Are Looking for You
We seek candidates with interest and work experience in green area maintenance, parks, and gardens for at least three seasons. Good Swedish language skills and a B driver's license are requirements for employment. You enjoy and are capable of physically demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions. Qualifications in green area maintenance, parks, and gardens, as well as experience and knowledge of machine operation, tractor, trailer, small truck, riding lawn mower, etc., are advantageous.
As a person, you are service-oriented and can work independently as well as collaborate with others. You have a good understanding of the importance of safety and are attentive to workplace risks in daily outdoor work.

About the Workplace
The City Park and Land Park units have maintenance assignments in the municipality's parks and green areas. We work with citizens in focus and to deliver the best outdoor environment for Lund residents. Maintenance teams in park operations vary in size and are based in different parts of the municipality, with placements possible both in the city and villages (Dalby, Södra Sandby, Veberöd). The units are part of the Street, Park, and Nature Department, which manages the municipality's roads, tram lines, parks, playgrounds, allotment gardens, and natural areas.
The Urban Development Administration is responsible for a broad operation covering the entire urban development process. With approximately 350 committed and competent employees, we work on everything from urban planning, land management, and exploitation to building permits, environmental supervision, and nature conservation. We develop and manage public environments and contribute to sustainable urban development encompassing outdoor recreation, water management, and nature protection.
