About the Job As a park worker, you will work in an area with many visitors and tourists, which means you'll be one of the faces representing the Municipality of Lidköping. Work Tasks In your position, you will be responsible for your area but have a fantastic team of colleagues and supervisors who will support and assist you when needed. The work as a park worker primarily consists of maintaining and managing outdoor environments, such as pruning, weeding, planting, waste management like emptying trash bins, lawn mowing, plant care, as well as clearing and thinning the municipality's forests. The park worker position is permanent, but work areas and tasks may shift as Lidköping grows and changes. It's important that you enjoy being outdoors in any weather and have strong physical fitness since the job can be heavy at times, even with available assistance. Who Are You? Are you persistent, meticulous, flexible, and responsible? Then we're looking for you for an exciting position in the park department. Garden/landscaping education, B driver's license, and documented experience working with public outdoor environments are requirements for the position. Sustainability with a focus on biological diversity within set parameters is what applies in the area. Collaboration ability is crucial for the position, but you should also be able to work independently and have a good ability to prioritize what's most important at the moment. Additionally, you should have plant knowledge and an understanding of operational assignments. We place great importance on personal suitability.
