Working as a doctor at the WeMind On-Call Unit within WeMind Psychiatry Rinkeby is an operation that offers urgent consultations and assessments in the current contractual area of Barkarby-Jakobsberg. We receive patients who are currently in contact with other specialized psychiatric services in our area, as well as patients who do not yet have an established contact. We provide quick follow-ups for a limited period while patients are waiting to meet their regular care team.
The largest part of the work consists of urgent assessments, such as suicide risk assessments and assessments of acute care needs during mania, psychosis, and severe depression. As an on-call doctor, you may also participate in assessments of care levels for complex cases. Visits occur both on-site at the clinic, through remote contact, and through home visits or visits at other locations.
The doctor's role at WeMind is central to ensuring that our patients receive evidence-based care processes and regular follow-ups. We place great emphasis on empirical evidence and evidence-based treatment. At all clinics, we strive for close collaboration between different professions and actively work towards good cooperation with relatives, neighboring care facilities, and authorities. Meet our doctors on our careers page.
How do we know we are on the right track? We work with measurement-based care. This means that we always follow up on treatment with validated assessment scales that we review together with the patient during the visit. This increases patient participation in care and enhances the possibility of individualized treatment, ensuring that it truly adds value for the patient. Follow-ups are conducted on a digital platform to avoid unnecessary administrative burdens on the staff.
