Ängelholm Municipality is now seeking an additional guardian supervisor! Our guardianship operations are developing, and we need more competent staff to meet an increased demand. With us, you will have a significant role where you contribute to legal security and safety for individuals who, for various reasons, need support in safeguarding their rights.

The guardianship unit ensures that guardians, legal representatives, and administrators perform their duties correctly. The purpose is to ensure that minors or adults who cannot take care of themselves are not disadvantaged financially or legally. The operation is an important part of the idea that everyone should have equal rights regardless of ability.

Responsibilities

As a caseworker in the guardianship unit:

  • You will handle cases within the guardianship operations and be responsible for progressing your cases in a legally secure and efficient manner.
  • You will review annual accounts and inventories and make decisions regarding fees.
  • You will be responsible for the recruitment, orientation, and support of representatives, a role where communication, judgment, and trust-building skills are central.
  • You will have contact with clients, representatives, relatives, and authorities, sometimes in challenging situations that require clarity, patience, and stability.
  • You will contribute to the development of methods, routines, and informational materials together with colleagues in the team.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with a university degree in law, economics, social work, or another relevant field that the employer deems equivalent. You are ready to grow in the role, whether you have experience or are at the beginning of your career. We place great emphasis on your potential, commitment, sense of responsibility, and willingness to develop in the role.

As a person, you are structured, meticulous, self-driven, and have an easy time building good relationships. You are confident and stable, yet attentive and respectful in your interactions with others. You have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing and to explain legal and financial matters in an understandable way. You communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Meriting qualifications include:

  • Experience in public authority exercise and case management.
  • Experience in financial accounting (e.g., budget work, reporting, or control).

  • December 3 all day.

Additional Information

The position is planned to be filled contingent upon the approval of the budget proposal.
