We are now seeking an orthodontic assistant or dental nurse with an interest in orthodontics for our specialist dental clinic in Lund C.
At the Lund clinic, we offer comprehensive dental expertise. Our team of approximately 70 employees provides dental care in periodontology, endodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontics, bite physiology, and pediatric dentistry. We also offer specialist training for dentists. The clinic is located near Lund Central Station, providing excellent commuting options.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As an orthodontic assistant in our orthodontic department, you will work in a team with other orthodontic assistants and orthodontists, which involves working independently when required and collaboratively with your colleagues when needed. Together, you will treat children, adolescents, and adults. Your duties include examination and X-ray assistance, delegated patient treatment, and administrative tasks such as cost proposals and referral management.

QUALIFICATIONS
You have a certified dental nurse degree, preferably with additional orthodontic assistant certification. Swedish language skills equivalent to Swedish high school or C1 level according to the Council of Europe's scale are required. Additionally, you should have basic computer skills and preferably experience with systems used in dental care. We offer training in the Alfa eCare Clinics journal system.
