About this role
The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new facilities, renovating, and expanding, and we are now looking for more employees. Our primary goal is to reduce recidivism – to break the cycle of crime. If we succeed, society will be safer and more secure for everyone. We are the authority responsible for prisons, probation, remand facilities, and client transportation.
The Transport Department (TA) is tasked with transporting and supervising individuals deprived of their liberty. These are the clients of the Swedish Prison and Probation Service who are moved between remand facilities and prisons, to court hearings, hospitals, and more. TA also transports individuals deprived of their liberty on behalf of, for example, the Police, the National Board of Institutional Care, the Migration Agency, and psychiatric services. Each year, approximately 130,000 transports are conducted, of which about 5,000 are international. The department consists of 1,200 individuals divided into 4 units.
We are now seeking an Organizational Specialist for the Transport Planning Unit, located in Arvidsjaur or Solna.
Interviews will take place on December 18-19.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The planning operations in Arvidsjaur are organized into two workgroups, one for domestic and one for international transports. Business development of the unit's processes in consultation with managers and other specialists, as well as quality assurance, is part of your assignment.
