We are a critical societal service within the Health, Care and Social Services Administration with approximately 65 dedicated employees. Together, we handle emergency alarms, burglary alarms, personal alarms, camera surveillance, and IT support – all to create a safer everyday life for Malmö residents.

Job Responsibilities
As an operational shift manager, you will lead and support alarm operators in daily work. You will create structure in stressful situations, prioritize interventions, and make operational decisions to ensure safe and efficient operations. You are the manager's extended arm during work shifts and a role model who motivates and engages the team.
The role also includes:
• Ensuring staffing and calling in replacements when needed
• Distributing tasks to ensure 24/7 operations
• Coordinating urgent events and collaborating with other actors
• Maintaining clear, structured, and situationally adapted communication, both internally and externally
• Following up on technical systems and documenting events in shift manager reports
• Contributing to improvement work regarding routines, methods, and technology
• Participating in meetings and forums and being active in personal and organizational development
We offer a critical and varied role where you make a real difference – every shift. With us, you'll have clear areas of responsibility, opportunities to influence and develop the organization, and work closely with engaged colleagues in a secure and competent team. You will work on a rotating schedule, 24/7, always together with another shift manager. Some positions primarily involve night work, while others cover day and evening shifts.
All new employees receive a paid internal training on-site for approximately four weeks, providing a solid foundation before receiving your first alarm. The training is mandatory, and it's important that you can be available throughout the entire training period, which includes day, evening, and night shifts.

Requirements
• Approved high school education
• At least 1 year of experience in operational leadership in 24/7 operations or other critical societal function
• Experience in making decisions and allocating resources in acute or event-driven situations
• Good technical understanding and experience working with digital operational systems
• Strong ability to communicate clearly, concretely, and professionally, both internally and externally
• Excellent Swedish language skills, both spoken and written
• Good English language skills, both spoken and written
