About this role

Operational Team Leader in Eskilstuna Operational Team Leader in the kitchen has primary responsibility for ensuring correct preparation and control weighing of raw materials according to established recipes, as well as efficient and timely raw material supply to the kitchen's various production units. The role involves actively working in daily production to maintain quality, traceability, and food safety in accordance with current legislation, regulatory requirements, and certified quality systems. The Team Leader will also handle complaint management - following up, analyzing, and driving improvement actions for quality deviations and customer complaints. Main Work Tasks and Responsibilities Operational Responsibility • Implement recipes according to daily needs - weighing, preparation, and raw material supply to respective kitchen units • Ensure production follows recipes, flows, hygiene requirements, and standardized work methods • Lead and plan daily kitchen production with focus on quality, capacity, and work environment • Perform control weighing of food according to established routines • Coordinate resources and staffing in consultation with Acting Operational Operations Manager • Drive changes and improvements in workflows and routines • Inventory and ordering You will also be responsible for Quality, which includes: • Ensuring traceability, temperature monitoring, hygiene routines, and allergen management function according to established and communicated kitchen routines • Serve as an overall control function in the kitchen - ensure critical control points are followed and documented • Actively work on standardization of work tasks and recipe implementation • Follow up and analyze deviations, complaints, and customer feedback, and drive corrective actions together with Acting Operations Manager and the team Who Are You? Important for the role is good communication skills and the ability to act pedagogically with your colleagues. We prefer candidates with the following competencies: • Post-secondary education in food, production, or equivalent • Experience in operational role within food production, preferably kitchen environment • Good understanding of HACCP, traceability, hygiene routines, and recipe implementation • Meritorious: Experience with certification systems (e.g., FSSC 22000, BRC) • Familiar with business and quality systems • Computer literacy and good Swedish in speech and writing Scope: Full-time position starting immediately or by agreement Daytime and evening shifts (weekend work may occur) Salary by agreement Additional questions will be handled by the responsible recruiter at Arena Personal.
