Your Role
Saab Dynamics and Underwater Systems is growing and needs more team members! We are currently seeking Operational Purchasers to join our fantastic teams in Linköping. Here, you'll have the chance to work in a procurement team with a strong business focus, high engagement, and tremendous drive!
As an Operational Purchaser, you'll have comprehensive responsibility from need to delivery, including follow-up and monitoring of our suppliers. You'll collaborate closely with strategic purchasers, SQM, sub-project managers, planning, development departments, and our internal customers.
Work tasks include:
* Send inquiries, evaluate offers, and negotiate prices where agreements are lacking
* Create purchase orders based on procurement needs, monitor deliveries, and manage invoices
* Analyze supplier performance and participate in supplier teams
* Conduct purchase preparation
* Ensure export control requirements are handled and fulfilled

Your Profile
A business-oriented mindset is crucial for this role, and familiarity with supplier market challenges and opportunities is beneficial. We prefer candidates with experience in operational purchasing and who are service-oriented, initiative-taking, and able to collaborate to achieve the best results. It's also important to communicate effectively in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
Education in relevant fields such as logistics, purchasing, or economics is meritorious.
