About this role

We are currently seeking an Operational Buyer who wants to play an important role in material supply and contribute to an efficient flow from customer order to delivery. Montex is an assembly company that has been in operation since 1993. The company, which has 29 employees, is located about 15 minutes outside of Karlskrona and currently has a turnover of approximately 140 million SEK. We manufacture everything from less complex assemblies in electronics and mechanics to technically advanced products, both large and small. Our customers are primarily in the medical technology and industrial sectors, both in Sweden and abroad. We are now looking for a new colleague to join our purchasing team, which currently consists of 8 members. About the Role As an Operational Buyer, you will be part of our purchasing team where each buyer has their own area of responsibility. You will work with customer orders (order placement, order follow-up, and delivery monitoring) as well as with purchase orders to ensure that production has the right materials when needed. You will work closely with both strategic purchasing, the quality department, and production, contributing to stable and efficient processes throughout the value stream. Your Responsibilities * Receive and register customer orders and monitor deliveries to customers * Place, follow up, and monitor purchase orders within your area of responsibility * Maintain active contact with suppliers to ensure the right quality and delivery times * Collaborate with production on changes in demand and forecasts * Work on inventory optimization and participate in stocktaking * Monitor and manage price deviations * Participate in improvement work within the purchasing and order processes We are looking for someone who * Has experience in operational purchasing and/or order administration from an industrial, manufacturing, or similar environment * Is accustomed to working in business systems, preferably Monitor G5 or equivalent ERP systems * Has good organizational skills and enjoys managing multiple points of contact simultaneously * Communicates clearly and builds good relationships both externally and internally * Is fluent in Swedish and proficient in English, both spoken and written * Enjoys a fast-paced environment when required Meritorious * Experience from the manufacturing industry * Understanding of technology We Offer * A dedicated and helpful team of nearly ten people with clear areas of responsibility and close collaboration * A role close to production and the business, where you can make a difference in the daily flow * Short decision-making paths and the opportunity to influence work methods and development * Modern, bright facilities and a work environment characterized by unpretentious collaboration, order, and quality The tasks require open and close communication between you, your colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
