As a consultant in Ljungby, you will play a crucial role in production with excellent opportunities for continuation and development towards strategic purchasing.
As an operational buyer, you will be responsible for ensuring that the production unit receives the right materials, supplies, protective equipment, and spare parts, on time, at the right cost, and in accordance with the company's quality and purchasing requirements. The work follows the customer's purchasing policy and procedures and constitutes a key function in the organization with many internal and external contacts.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage purchases according to policy and procedures
- Place purchase orders and maintain daily contact with suppliers
- Monitor deliveries and arrange transportation
- Ensure accurate inventory balances and track consumption
- Conduct inventories and approve invoices
- Update registers and price lists
- Participate in contract work and supplier assessments
- Assist in deviation management
- Be responsible for contact with cleaning and laundry partners
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking someone who has:
- An academic education in purchasing or a relevant higher education degree.
- Strong proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
- Excellent computer skills, including strong knowledge of Excel.
- Good logical and analytical abilities.
- Strong social skills and a high sense of service.
- Experience in purchasing within a manufacturing or production environment is an advantage.
- Experience with ERP systems is advantageous, particularly Monitor.
