We are looking for an experienced and self-driven operational purchaser for an exciting consulting assignment on-site in Västerås. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring material supply, inventory levels, and efficient purchasing flows for direct materials. You will become an important part of a team where collaboration, communication, and service are central aspects of daily operations.
**Responsibilities**
- Purchasing materials in SAP
- Order monitoring from order to delivery
- Planning of materials based on needs
- Contact and coordination with internal and external suppliers
- Responsibility for inventory of own materials with subcontractors
- Handling and matching of supplier invoices
- Ongoing follow-up to ensure correct levels and timely delivery
**Requirements**
- Post-secondary education with at least 2 years in purchasing, logistics, or finance – or equivalent work experience
- Experience working in SAP
- Strong skills in Excel
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
**Meritorious**
- Experience working in process-driven organizations, such as according to ISO9001
- Previous experience in operational purchasing or material planning within industry/production
