About this role

We are looking for a property manager with at least three years of experience. You will take on a central responsibility for tenant relations and ongoing management. Handle technical matters, billing, and ensure efficient operations. ABOUT THE POSITION As a Property Manager, you will take on a central, business-driven role and be responsible for the property portfolio from a comprehensive perspective in Malmö. You will support management matters while ensuring they are executed cost-effectively and efficiently. The management area in Malmö is divided among 10 managers and consists of 8,200 residential units and approximately 105,000 square meters of commercial space. This is a consultancy assignment. You will be employed by Academic Work and will be on assignment with our client. The assignment runs until April 30, 2026. RESPONSIBILITIES In the role of Property Manager, you will handle a range of management matters, from tenant contact and maintenance projects to inspections and regulatory requirements. You will act as a central link between tenants, property caretakers, and project managers to ensure effective and customer-oriented management. * Responsible for conducting inspections of residential units (including pre- and post-inspections). * Responsible for standard improvements in apartments aimed at creating a pleasant living environment, improving cash flow, increasing customer satisfaction, and promoting efficient management. * Responsible for driving and following up on smaller maintenance projects in collaboration with Project Managers. * Maintain daily contact with residential tenants to promote good relationships, service, and accessibility. * Ensure follow-up on rounds, general regulatory requirements, and energy consumption. * Responsible for coordinating tenant communication regarding various matters and projects to create security through clear information. WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO - Have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. - Hold a valid driver's license (B). - Have at least 3 years of relevant work experience in property management. - Have post-secondary education in economics, property management, or equivalent. - Have experience with tenant contact and contractor agreements. - Have good knowledge of the property owner's responsibilities and regulatory requirements. - Are able to plan and prioritize your work. - Have a strong customer focus, service orientation, and ability to build relationships. - Possess good digital skills and are a regular user of the Office suite and financial systems. It is an advantage if you have: - Experience working in Vitec or a similar property management system. - Additional language skills beyond Swedish and English.
