Our Operations
The Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) and Plastic Surgery department is a shared surgical unit for the fields of ear, nose, and throat diseases as well as plastic surgery. The staff consists of operating room nurses and nursing assistants who work closely with maxillofacial surgeons and the anesthesia department. Examples of procedures performed include surgeries for cleft lip, jaw, and palate, breast and head-neck reconstructions, skin grafts for severe burns, and facial injury repairs. We perform advanced rhinology, laser surgery, and bronchoscopy, as well as basic surgeries such as tonsillectomies and outpatient procedures under local anesthesia. We also have two operating rooms dedicated to otologic surgery, such as cochlear implants and tympanoplasty. Our patients include both children and adults from across the country, but primarily from Central Sweden. The department has a total of seven operating rooms. Burn patients are operated on in the operating room located in the burn intensive care unit.

We are looking for an operating room nurse for ENT and plastic surgery who wants to help develop our exciting, varied, and innovative operations. We are a positive group working closely together to provide the best care and first-class service to our patients. We are responsive to your wishes and your professional development needs.
Your Qualifications
We are seeking a licensed nurse with specialized training in surgical nursing.
Your Skills
We are a well-organized operation with close interdisciplinary collaboration, making your personal suitability very important. We prefer candidates who are proactive and possess good teamwork skills.
We Offer
Our work schedule model entails a weekly working time of 36.33 hours/week, which means you have about 7 weekdays off over 10 weeks. We operate Monday to Friday. We have a 10-week schedule and 5 on-call occasions during this period (3 on weekdays and one on a weekend). Working hours are negotiable, with some flexibility based on various preferences. The onboarding process will be tailored to your needs. We offer you a full-time temporary position with a start date to be agreed upon, lasting approximately one year, with the possibility of extension or permanent employment.
