Day Surgery Norrköping is an operating and endoscopic unit at Vrinnevisjukhuset in Norrköping. The clinic is located centrally in new, modern facilities designed to ensure patient-safe care in Operation, Recovery, and Endoscopic activities.
The facility includes six high-tech operating rooms and three endoscopic examination rooms. In addition, there is a recovery department with 13 beds. We work Monday-Friday, and working hours are between 07:00-17:00, where you as an employee have the opportunity to influence your schedule.

Job Description
As an operating room nurse at Day Surgery in Norrköping, you will be offered interesting and varied tasks focusing on planned day surgery operations.
The operating room team consists of you as the operating room nurse, an anesthesia nurse, and a nurse assistant who, in close collaboration with the anesthesiologist and surgeon, work as a team around the patient. The work involves pre-, per-, and post-operative care of the unit's patients, where you are an important part of the patient flow for the operating department. Together with your team, you will handle many types of patients in surgery, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, medicine, and ear, nose, and throat surgery. You will have a responsible and stimulating job where you can participate in development work throughout the clinic.
About You
You have a nursing degree, with further education in operating room nursing. Experience in day surgery is meritorious.
You have good collaboration skills, are flexible, and contribute to a good work climate. You plan, organize, and prioritize work efficiently. As a person, you are calm, attentive, and always have the patient in focus. You are also receptive and work well with other people and are adaptable. Furthermore, we seek someone who takes initiative and wants to contribute to improvement and development work. In your professional role, you are confident and see opportunities for development.
