At the Central Operating Unit, we have fixed schedule planning, with daytime hours Monday to Friday, resulting in a 40-hour work week. During on-call shifts, we operate on a rotating schedule, currently with a weekly working time of 35.55 hours. The on-call schedule involves three shifts Monday to Friday and two shifts on weekends, with active night work. As the operation stands today, you will have the opportunity to work daytime hours Monday to Friday; in the long term, rotation involving day/night/weekend shifts may become relevant. Region Dalarna offers a generous wellness allowance.
**Operating Nurse for Central Operating Unit Mora**
**Job Responsibilities**
As an operating nurse, you will be part of the surgical team alongside nursing assistants and anesthetic nurses. You will be responsible for systematically planning and organizing work related to surgical procedures, ensuring that hygienic and aseptic principles are adhered to, and preventing the spread of infection. Other typical responsibilities for an operating nurse will also apply.

• Experience from an operating department.

You should also be able to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish and be comfortable working with digital medical record systems. Your ability to multitask and handle stress is strong, and you have the capacity to keep many tasks in motion. We also expect you to have good collaboration skills and a flexible working style. You are engaged and contribute to a positive work environment. Personal suitability and previous references will be given significant weight.
