Do you want to work in a modern operating department with a wide range of specialties, high quality ambitions, and a family-like atmosphere? With us, you will be part of a professional team where collaboration, development, and engagement are at the core, and where we take care of each other in our daily work.
About us
Our anesthesiology clinic combines anesthesia, surgery, postoperative care, sterilization technology, and intensive care within the same operational area. We conduct elective and emergency surgery around the clock in surgery, orthopedics, urology, and obstetrics, staffing a total of 15 operating rooms, including two for cesarean sections. Capio S:t Görans Sjukhus also has Stockholm's newest maternity clinic. This provides us with a dynamic environment with great opportunities for development, collaboration, and broadening our expertise. We are now continuing our investment in creating a top-class central operating room!
Watch our colleague Lena talk more about what it’s like to work as an Operating Room Nurse with us.
About the role
We are now focusing on sectioning the operating department, which gives you the opportunity to specialize in surgery/obstetrics or orthopedics, or to work across both areas, a step towards strengthening both workflow and specialist competence.
You will work in an engaged team alongside nursing assistants, operating room nurses, anesthetists, and doctors. We collaborate closely and strive for continuous development and learning from each other.
There is also the possibility to work across blocks, especially during on-call hours.
Working hours: 3-shift, primarily daytime.
Qualifications
We are looking for a licensed nurse with specialized training in operating room care. We prefer candidates with a few years of experience in the field.
We seek individuals who want to contribute new ideas, share our values, and have a secure, collaborative, and unpretentious approach. You are structured, flexible, and easily adapt to changes.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability and value diversity.
