Host Nation Support Section / HNS CC
The Operations Management (OPL) is tasked with supporting the Head of OPL with relevant planning, execution, and decision support materials for the management of the Armed Forces' operations both nationally and internationally.
HNS CC (Host Nation Support Coordination Cell) is one of three sections within the Logistics Department / J4. The section is responsible for coordinating host nation support for incoming and transiting foreign units into and/or through Sweden. This section was newly established in the fall of 2025.
Main Responsibilities
As a Logistics Officer, you will have a holistic perspective and participate in the planning and coordination of host nation support.
Coordination will occur with units within the Armed Forces as well as with civilian authorities and organizations, and foreign units.
You will play a role in the development of the section and undertake administrative tasks, such as drafting correspondence and minutes, making bookings and orders, updating collaboration platforms, preparing and compiling materials, and other administrative tasks relevant to the position.
Since HNS CC is in a startup phase, the initial period of the job will involve tasks that lead to a functioning section that addresses assigned tasks.
Requirements
Qualifications
• High school education with passing grades
• Relevant and current experience in administrative work within government, preferably in the total defense sector
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English – both spoken and written
• B driver's license

Meritorious
• Completed military basic training, conscription, or equivalent with passing results
• Experience working with host nation support or logistics
• Previous service within the Armed Forces
• Prior international service or experience within voluntary defense
• Knowledge of and experience with the Armed Forces' IT systems

Employment Type: Permanent position. The employment begins with a 6-month probationary period.
Employment Rate: Full-time. Working hours are primarily during the day, but evening and weekend work may occur.
Work Location: Stockholm. The position is not suitable for remote work. Short trips to other locations and abroad may occur.

At the Headquarters, you will find the Supreme Commander and the Director General. The Headquarters has approximately 1,000 employees – both professional officers and civilian experts. As of January 1, 2023, the Headquarters consists of the Defense Staff, Operations Management, Military Intelligence and Security Service, as well as the Headquarters' Staff Department and independent supervisory units.
