We are seeking an engaged oncology specialist nurse for our newly established Docrates Cancer Hospital in Stockholm. Would you like to help build our excellent clinic from the start? This is a unique opportunity to shape the operations and working methods as a specialist nurse right from the beginning.
Docrates is the only private cancer hospital in the Nordics offering complete cancer diagnostics and treatment. We serve our cancer patients individually throughout their entire care chain, from cancer diagnostics to post-treatment follow-up. Qualifications/Work Experience
• Registered nurse with specialist education in oncology
• Documented experience working with cancer treatment and cytostatic management
• Engaged, meticulous, and with a good ability to meet people in difficult life situations
• Comfortable working in a team while being self-directed and responsible
Your Role
As an oncology nurse with us, you will have a central role in patients' treatment processes. You will work closely with our doctors and healthcare teams to provide support throughout the treatment course. In this role, you will be a key person in patients' cancer journeys, assisting through the entire process of treatment planning and implementation. You will have an important role in shaping our newly established clinic and have excellent opportunities to influence the operations and develop both the organization and yourself. Your Profile
We are seeking someone who:
• Is an experienced and empathetic nurse with specialist knowledge in oncology
• Wants to help build our excellent clinic from the ground up
• Prioritizes a good work environment and always strives to provide the best possible care to our patients
• Has excellent communication skills and an ability to create good relationships with both patients and colleagues
• Enjoys taking responsibility and showing the commitment needed to maintain high-quality operations
• Is fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
About Us
Docrates Cancer Hospital in Sweden is dedicated to offering individually tailored cancer care and diagnostics without waiting times, using the most advanced techniques. Since 2009, we have treated over 2,000 Swedish cancer patients at our facility in Finland. Now we are building on this experience by establishing a local unit in Stockholm, focused on providing Swedish patients with high-quality, patient-centered cancer care.
Our goal is to ensure Swedish patients have access to the latest evidence-based diagnostics and treatment. This is achieved through our Stockholm unit, our extensive partner network in Sweden and internationally, and our fully equipped cancer hospital in Finland.
