We are looking for someone (under 45 years old) who enjoys working with people, has a high school diploma (or equivalent), and at least one year of work experience. It is more important that the personal chemistry is right than having specific prior experience. You will learn the tasks on-site.
What does this job entail?
The work involves assisting the main individual practically in daily life, as well as providing support to clarify their situation through, for example, schedules and structure. The person we are looking for to join our team is a 29-year-old man with limited mobility who lives with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
We are seeking a person for a part-time position, with a need of 20-30%. Working hours are scheduled according to a rotating schedule, with some day or evening shifts each week and approximately one weekend a month, during which longer shifts are required.
The workplace varies and is wherever the user is; at home in the city, at work, at the gym, in the swimming pool, among other locations.
Your qualities and competencies:
Clear communication is important in this job, so you need to speak and write fluent Swedish. You will use your written skills daily. You should be a calm and secure person, preferably with a pedagogical approach. It is beneficial if you have experience working with people in some capacity. Organization, order, and structure are valuable traits that will serve you well in this role. Additionally, being independent and proactive is a plus.
You also need to be non-smoking and tolerant of pets.
