We are the unit that handles all care interventions for our clients living in their own homes within Umeå Municipality. We are now seeking more colleagues in the home care area of Haga/Berghem! Your Tasks As care personnel in municipal home care, you are responsible for planning and performing care work in people's own homes. The goal is to enable older or disabled individuals to remain in their homes for as long as they wish. You work based on the assignment, with the client's participation at the center. This ensures that interventions are performed with high quality according to welfare decisions and implementation plans. About You We are seeking someone with experience working in elder care. It is meritorious if you are trained as a nursing assistant or care assistant. As a person, you have high integrity, are attentive, empathetic, and enjoy working both independently and in a group. You demonstrate great commitment to both clients and the organization in all relationships and actions. We therefore place great importance on personal suitability. To work with us, you must have a B driver's license. You also need to be able to cycle during both summer and winter. Since several of our elderly clients have pets in their homes, you should not have allergies. Smoking may also be present. The work involves heavy lifting, with lifting aids used after delegation. To communicate with clients, relatives, and colleagues, write and review care documentation, and receive medication delegation, you must have good Swedish language skills in both speaking and writing.
