About the position
Within the Cancer Theme, patients with malignant tumors and benign conditions in urology, endocrinology, hematology, and coagulation are investigated, treated, and cared for. We also conduct clinical studies in various phases. Read more about the Cancer Theme and our mission here.
At the Surgical Department Bäckenkirurgi 7 in Solna, we provide highly specialized care and robotic surgery to patients with gynecological, urological, and colorectal diseases across the entire Stockholm region. We are the sole provider of surgery for advanced bladder cancer and urinary tract reconstruction. Our mission primarily includes planned surgeries, but we also admit patients in need of emergency care.
As a Nursing Manager with us, you will, together with your managerial colleague, be responsible for personnel, work environment, and finances. In a shared leadership role, you will lead a team of approximately 50 employees and ensure that care in the operation is conducted with high patient safety and quality, that the work environment is good, and that we meet environmental, safety, and occupational health requirements. You will collaborate closely with other nursing managers in the nursing area, particularly within inpatient care, as well as section managers in surgery. Together, you will actively work to implement and drive operational development to meet today’s and future care needs.

The position of Nursing Manager is a frontline assignment linked to a managerial appointment that is permanent.

Qualifications
Requirements:
- Licensed nurse with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare.
- Experience in leadership roles.
- Experience in driving development within surgical care.
Meritorious:
- Specialist-trained nurse.
- Leadership training.
- Experience in driving improvement and change efforts.
