Ref: 20252599 Job Duties The work involves guiding users with both autism and intellectual disabilities with extensive support needs in their daily activities. We work with clarifying pedagogy aimed at making the world as clear and predictable as possible. Challenging behavior occurs, and you will support care tasks based on the user's support needs. Together with other staff, you will work on planning, implementation, evaluation, and development of the activities. Care Pedagogue Responsibilities As a care pedagogue, you are responsible for leading, developing, and quality assuring the pedagogical work within the operation. You are a clear leader in pedagogical matters and work to ensure that the activities are conducted in accordance with the LSS intentions and daily activity mission. The role includes coordinating the team's work, creating a common pedagogical direction, and ensuring that each user receives individually adapted support based on their needs and goals. You will guide and support employees in establishing, following up, and evaluating implementation plans, and ensure that these and other documentation maintain high quality. You are responsible for implementing, following up, and further developing agreed methods and working approaches, and ensuring that work related to users' support needs, activities, and potential deviations is conducted systematically and with a learning orientation. Together with the section manager, you will drive operational and quality development with a focus on the pedagogical area. You will stay updated on current methods and approaches based on scientific and proven experience to ensure a professional and development-oriented operation. We are looking for someone with a university or college degree (minimum bachelor's degree, 180 credits) in behavioral sciences, pedagogical orientation, or another education that the employer deems relevant. You have at least two years of experience working with people with autism and intellectual disabilities with extensive support needs where challenging behavior occurs. You should have worked at least one year within LSS. You have work experience and can translate theory into practice regarding low-affective approach, clarifying pedagogy, and protection and limitation measures. We prefer candidates with experience working with AAC and should have experience leading groups and conducting various pedagogical discussions based on individual user needs. You need to have good knowledge of writing implementation plans, action plans, and other social documentation. Work experience as a care pedagogue and in daily activities is meritorious. For us, it is important that you have a good human perspective, respectful approach, and good pedagogical ability. As a care pedagogue, you work closely with users and together create the content of the activities. You must be flexible, attentive, and creative. When encountering many different users and colleagues, high demands are placed on social adaptability, independence, and self-confidence. Work tasks may change and develop rapidly, and as an employee, you must be flexible, able to shift focus, take initiative, and make independent decisions. You are good at managing stress, can relate to rapid changes and changing conditions. You have good computer skills and can express yourself in Swedish both verbally and in writing.
