As a care supervisor, you will work according to the national value framework and from a salutogenic approach. In your role, you will plan your day based on the needs of the organization, for example, coordinating and planning activities in collaboration with other colleagues who act as representatives in various tasks. The focus will also be on providing support and guidance to staff at the care and nursing home, including the onboarding of new employees. You will coordinate the move-in and move-out process for our tenants. You will also supervise complex cases involving tenants, relatives, and contact staff. Additional responsibilities may include enhancing competence in the work with implementation plans or social documentation. Through your network and conversations with various professionals, you have the opportunity to identify and suggest training initiatives. You will support and assist your colleagues in care-related tasks.
Gunnared Care and Nursing Home has a unit for general care and nursing, two units for tenants with dementia, and a unit focused on mental disabilities. There are a total of 60 apartments. Gunnared Care and Nursing Home is scheduled to undergo renovations in 2027-2028. During this period, operations will temporarily be moved to another residence in the city, currently proposed to be on Morängatan in Bagaregården.

Your working hours will be weekdays during the day, but evenings and weekends may also occur. Workweeks are 40 hours long, and you are entitled to flexible working hours.

**Qualifications**
We are looking for someone who:
• Is a trained care assistant and can provide proof of protected vocational title from the National Board of Health and Welfare
• Holds vocational higher education with at least 200 credits within care and nursing or higher education that the employer deems relevant to the position.
• Has professional experience in care and nursing and experience working with individuals with cognitive impairments
• Has work experience in supervising groups and individuals
• Has a very good understanding of the Individual's Needs in Focus (IBIC) approach and feels confident in guiding other colleagues in this
• Is computer literate for documentation and deviation management in various IT systems
• Has good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written.
It is an advantage if you:
• Have worked as a care supervisor
• Have education in dementia and geriatric psychology at an advanced level
• Have worked with BPSD in previous roles.
