JOB DESCRIPTION
Are you an engaged person who is passionate about working with people? Then you should apply for a job at Minnesotavägen 28 in Växjö! We are currently seeking two new employees, one permanent position and one parental leave substitute until November 30, 2026.
Minnesotavägen 28 offers housing with special services according to LSS (the Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). You will provide support in eight apartments to individuals who require a well-adapted physical environment as well as care, activation, and stimulation both socially and physically, particularly aimed at elderly individuals. There are opportunities for activation and stimulation in shared facilities to maintain abilities and foster social interaction with others. The work involves providing support to individuals in their daily lives according to established implementation plans.
We are looking for someone who wants to be part of our dedicated workgroup consisting of care assistants divided into two teams, as well as night staff. We have developmental team and workplace meetings, document in journals, and collaborate to create a good quality of life for our care recipients.
QUALIFICATIONS
The work requires you to be responsible, cooperative, engaged, and confident in your professional role. It is desirable that you have knowledge of different levels of ability, autism, severe disabilities, and physical impairments. Experience with somatic care, end-of-life care, and epilepsy is an advantage. Furthermore, we hope you have experience working with people. Knowledge of various types of disabilities is also beneficial.
The position requires good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as basic computer skills.
To be considered for the position, you must have completed an approved education from the health and care program, the child and leisure program, advanced care training, nursing education, or other education that we deem suitable for the role, such as behavioral science or pedagogical education at the university level with at least 120 credits.
