Area Responsible for Voltage
Background
The assignment aims to coordinate and provide cohesion to ensure delivery within the voltage area (with respect to alternating voltage) for the customer.
Assignment Description
You will drive and work on issues with both technical breadth and depth together with technical experts from different units within the customer organization. You will contribute to the customer fulfilling system responsibility within voltage, ensuring appropriate requirements are placed on connecting parties, and that agreed requirements are met.
Role and Responsibility
You will have overall responsibility and lead cross-functional work within the voltage area, drive improvement work and development of the technical area. The role is new, and an important task will be to shape and anchor it together with the rest of the organization. Initially, a priority task will be to coordinate work with review and follow-up of implementation of a new agreement between TSO and DSO within voltage and reactive power.
The assignment includes the following tasks:
• Coordinating work with UQ agreements, internally at the customer and in collaboration with DSOs
• Lead cross-functional teams internally and externally, and be the presenter in steering/management groups
• Ensure long-term strategy and target image for the voltage area remain current and that necessary activities and needs are initiated to achieve set goals
• Responsible for identifying needs, planning and coordinating work carried out within the technical area, responsible for existing and developing new agreements with connecting parties within the technical area, and following up on their fulfillment
• Responsible for monitoring key performance indicators and initiating actions in case of deviations, develop and drive collaborations both internally and with external actors
• Participate in Nordic and European working and expert groups within the area, and participate in various projects and initiatives related to the role or unit's area of responsibility
Mandatory Requirements:
• Master's degree in electrical power engineering or equivalent education/work experience as assessed by the customer
• At least 2 years of experience in a leading or coordinating role, such as project manager, within the last 5 years
• At least 5 years of experience with system-related issues, power system structure and function, i.e., electrical grid, power production, transmission, distribution, or similar technical issues within the last 10 years
• At least 3 years of work experience in the voltage area, focusing on how voltage and reactive power interact in different time perspectives in the power system, both statically and dynamically, for example regarding voltage stability
• Fluent in Swedish and English
Meritorious:
• At least 2 years of work experience in system or network planning, or operational background in regional or transmission networks
• At least 2 years of work experience leading/coordinating complex technical work, for example as a project manager, product owner, or technical manager in a technical area
• At least 2 years of work experience driving improvement and efficiency work or development of a technical area
