Location: Stockholm or Gothenburg Remote Work: Up to 50% Assignment Period: December 15, 2025 – January 15, 2027 Application Deadline: November 10, 2025 About the Assignment We are seeking an experienced electrical power expert for an assignment as Voltage Area Manager in the energy sector. The role involves comprehensive responsibility for leading and coordinating work within the voltage area – focusing on alternating voltage and reactive power – in close collaboration with technical specialists and various grid actors. You will contribute to ensuring system responsibility is met and that appropriate requirements are set for connecting parties. The work is strategic and technically advanced, encompassing both national and international cooperation in the field. Responsibilities As Voltage Area Manager, you will among other tasks: • Coordinate work on UQ agreements and collaborations with network owners and other actors. • Lead cross-functional teams and serve as a presenter in steering and management groups. • Ensure long-term strategy and vision for the voltage area remain current and are implemented. • Identify needs, plan and coordinate activities within the technical domain. • Be responsible for agreements with connecting parties and follow up on fulfillment of requirements and commitments. • Monitor key performance indicators and initiate improvement measures for deviations. • Participate in Nordic and European working and expert groups. • Contribute to development work and improvement initiatives within voltage and reactive power areas. The assignment involves both strategic and operational elements and offers significant opportunities to influence development in a central technological area of the energy system. Qualifications To succeed in the role, we seek candidates with: • Master's degree in electrical power engineering or equivalent education/experience. • At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or coordination role within the past five years. • At least 5 years of experience working with system-related issues in grid, production, transmission, or distribution. • At least 3 years of experience working with voltage and reactive power issues, including understanding of voltage stability and dynamics in power systems. • Excellent Swedish and English skills, both spoken and written. Meritorious: • Experience in system or network planning or operations within regional or transmission networks. • Experience leading or coordinating technically complex projects. • Experience with improvement and development work in technical or system domains.
