We are Seeking a Union Representative
Vision is currently undergoing significant development to strengthen our position as a trade union and further increase our union power. Vision is an organization in constant motion, and you need to thrive in change management that reflects societal development and captures current trends.
About the Role:
We are seeking a team member for our Coordinated Negotiation Unit. As a union representative, you will be a key person in assessment and negotiation work. Simultaneously, you will help plan, take responsibility for, and implement activities aimed at achieving our goal of increasing union strength. In the assessment work, you will need to quickly and independently investigate how inquiries from employers, elected representatives, and members should be handled. We primarily negotiate digitally, but also in-person when the situation requires. Business travel may therefore occur.
The unit coordinates local negotiation activities and is responsible for support in negotiation work, both for colleagues and elected representatives. In our pursuit of continuously improving our negotiation work, we place great focus on developing and streamlining our processes. We are therefore seeking someone who is analytical and thrives in a changing environment where we encourage improvement suggestions and smart working methods.
You have the ability to see the big picture and consider broader perspectives. You also have the ability to self-manage and work consultatively and in close collaboration with colleagues in the unit and across other parts of Vision. You are very comfortable with digital tools and understand the value of documentation.
We offer a variety of opportunities to work both physically and digitally, focusing on personal productivity and effective collaborations. Health, well-being, and recovery are important to us!
We are Seeking Someone Who:
• Has negotiation experience
• Has relevant post-secondary education, e.g., focused on labor law, personnel and work-life issues, or legal studies
• Is independent with very good team collaboration skills
• Is flexible and relationship-building with a service-oriented approach
• Takes initiative to drive work forward
• Is experienced in Microsoft 365 and Microsoft CRM
We offer a permanent full-time position located at Vision's national office in Stockholm. Your colleagues in the unit will be based at the national office and regional offices around the country. Here, you'll have the opportunity to work in an exciting and developmental environment where your work truly makes a difference.
We offer a workplace where you can be yourself, with a strong focus on work environment, flexibility, and good opportunities for recovery. You will be part of a committed team working together to further develop support for our members and elected representatives.
