Actum Greentech AB is now seeking Pest Control Operators for the 2026 season!
We are looking for new team members for upcoming projects related to chemical and mechanical weed control in operational sites (train stations & rail yards) as well as the removal of invasive plant species along Sweden's railway network. Our operations are carried out nationwide from Ystad to Haparanda, with Karlskrona as our base. Work takes place in the field, sometimes far from home, but always with a strong team backing you.
About the Role:
As a pest control operator with us, you will work on:
• Chemical and mechanical control of various invasive plant species, such as giant hogweed, Japanese knotweed, and Himalayan balsam
• Chemical weed control at train stations and rail yards
• Inventory of control areas
• Transport and logistics
• Practical outdoor tasks in varying environments
We are looking for someone who:
• Enjoys physical outdoor work and has a strong work ethic
• Is responsible, engaged, and independent
• Is flexible, solution-oriented, and likes to travel
• Holds a valid B driver's license (mandatory)
• Holds a BE driver's license or higher (advantageous)
• Has previous experience with agricultural machinery, ATVs, backpack sprayers, or brush cutters (advantageous)
• Holds a plant protection training certificate class 1L/2L (advantageous)
Employment Type & Working Hours:
• Seasonal employment from April to August/September
• Work schedule: 7/7, meaning you work for seven days and are then off for seven days – which corresponds to full-time according to our collective agreement (SEKO, road and rail agreement)
• Varying working hours (day/evening/night/weekend)
Before Starting:
• We provide mandatory training before the project begins (February-April)
• You will receive the equipment and introduction you need
• Salary according to the applicable collective agreement (SEKO, road and rail agreement)
