About the Role
As a Quotation Engineer / Area Sales Manager at Sund Birsta, you will work closely with both business and technology. You will handle customer inquiries, analyze technical documentation, register orders, and prepare preliminary calculations and quotes for both standard machines and larger facility solutions. The work requires attention to detail, good communication skills, and a willingness to understand technical specifics.
The role involves regular travel related to international customer contacts and collaboration with sales colleagues worldwide. You will also participate in customer meetings and trade fairs abroad. In close cooperation with a global sales team, you will have the opportunity to develop, and for the right person, there is a clear career path towards a more business-oriented role with a strong international focus.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology and business, who enjoys understanding complex systems and has a sense of what is important to the customer. You are self-driven and comfortable working with numbers, calculations, and technical documentation. Furthermore, you are a collaborative person with the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively.
You may have already worked in a role where you handled quotes, technical inquiries, or customized solutions. Alternatively, you have a background in technical sales, purchasing, or project management. Experience working with international customers, business, or sales support is a significant plus. Regardless of your background, it is important that you are communicative, curious, and have a business drive.
Requirements for the Position
• Technical understanding (e.g., from industry, electrical/automation, mechanical engineering, or similar)
• Professional experience in technical sales, project management, purchasing, or quotation work from the technology sector
• Fluent in English and Swedish, both spoken and written
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working in international companies where you have had contact with customers, suppliers, or partners
