Malmö Art offers a temporary position as a Development Secretary. We are looking for someone interested in public space, artistic processes, and exciting challenges!
Job Responsibilities
As a Development Secretary at Malmö Art, you will be part of a small team working on process management and curating public art projects throughout Malmö, based on a broad understanding of what public art can be. You will collaborate closely with artists, art consultants, other departments within Malmö City, architects, users, and civil society.
Your tasks will include close cooperation with a wide range of partners, which involves curating, producing, and planning multiple art projects, including developing and drafting art programs, writing procurement documents, and conducting evaluations.

Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with a relevant university degree of 180 credits, as well as at least 2 years of professional experience in curating or production within the field.
You have experience in coordination and development within the arts and culture sector, urban planning, or a corresponding relevant area. We also expect you to be proficient in Office programs and other IT tools relevant to the position.
Experience working in public sector/politically governed organizations is an advantage, as is experience in cultural production and knowledge of and experience with public procurement.
You are creative, proactive, independent, and responsible, while also being humble and skilled at collaborating with various partners. Being solution-oriented, flexible, and having strong initiative are important traits for success in this role.
You are structured, pedagogical, and possess good administrative skills, as well as being fluent in writing and communicating in Swedish.
