About this role

Security and Preparedness Department Region Uppsala's Management Office is part of Region Uppsala, one of Uppsala County's largest employers. The Management Office is led by the Regional Director and consists of approximately one thousand employees. With a governing, supporting, and coordinating role, the Management Office is tasked with supporting the political leadership and administrations to ensure the political direction is implemented across the region's various operations. Our Operations Region Uppsala is seeking an engaged object specialist who wants to help build the regional management of RAKEL – a critically important communication system. RAKEL (Radio Communication for Effective Management) is Sweden's national, digital communication system for critical societal actors such as rescue services, ambulance care, and police. The system enables secure and efficient collaboration during both everyday events and major crises. RAKEL is currently used in several of Region Uppsala's operations. Your Mission You will belong to the Catalog and Security Services unit (KST), which currently manages the KST object. The object encompasses: • HSA Catalog (contains information about employees and units) • MASTER (population register) • SITHS/E-service Card (electronic credentials) • Blocking Service (for managing blocked medical records) • KLASSA (information classification system) As an object specialist, you will be part of a small group of object specialists led by an object manager. As an object specialist, you will be responsible for the administrative management of RAKEL. Your mission includes: • Coordination of user groups and stakeholders • User support through training, support, and documentation • Continuous improvement work and system adaptation • Proactive planning to meet future needs • Establishment of routines and administrative processes The work requires high standards of security, reliability, and availability. Therefore, you are expected to work proactively to ensure high quality. The goal is to ensure that RAKEL continuously contributes to the organization's efficiency and security. Your Qualifications We are seeking someone who has: • Experience in system management, preferably according to pm3 • Worked in project form, especially with IT system implementation • Experience in user training • Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing • Interest in technology (technical education is not a requirement) Meriting: • Knowledge of Region Uppsala's organization • Understanding of system integrations and system flows • Experience in public administration • University education Your Competence • Is structured and has high administrative competence, including in economics • Communicates clearly and pedagogically • Works independently and can prioritize • Has good collaboration skills and is service-oriented We Offer We offer a permanent full-time position with flex-time agreement.
