About the Position
The Identity and Authorization Unit works with management and further development of IT support for identity management, access, authorization, and trusted services. We face exciting tasks and projects in the coming years, which will give you as an object specialist the opportunity to work with new solutions while developing both professionally and personally.
As an object specialist at the Service Administration, you will work with management, proactive maintenance, and development of the region's central authentication service. You will have a central role in ensuring high functionality and understanding complex integrations, as well as how these affect various solutions and systems. In this role, you will participate in architectural issues and problem-solving, transforming them into practical solutions that meet business needs. You will also track how changes and additions to methods, connection approaches, and processes impact future manageability, system complexity, and security, providing a broad overview of both technology and operations.
The role involves:
- Ensuring delivery of authentication services for the Region's users, including securing authentication methods, service descriptions, service delivery frameworks, customer support, and requirements for subcontractors/technical management and operations.
- Serving as a contact point for both customers and the administration's subcontractors in operations and technical management, which is a central part of the role.
- Working with the region's authentication service and various user authentication methods, including work with standards such as SAML and OIDC with dependencies on directory services via LDAP and databases like X.500.
- Within the management organization, transforming business functional requirements into the best possible technical solutions and ensuring that changes fit into the technical environment, and further developing the service's process framework.

We also expect you to have:
• Post-secondary education in IT, Systems Science, Information Management, or equivalent experience
• Insight and knowledge of X.500 structures
• Knowledge of federation/SAML/OpenID Connect/OAuth 2.0
• Knowledge of certificates and their areas of use
• Experience in giving presentations and conducting workshops
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish
Additionally, it is meritorious if you have:
• Previous experience as an Object Specialist in Identity and Access Management (IAM)
• Knowledge in various areas of Region Stockholm's operations, regulations (PDL, NIS Directive, laws, ordinances, and regional policies), and SAML federations
• Knowledge in the following areas: LDAP, Integrations, WSFED, PAM, ITIL, Linux, Networks
