Description
Kretslopp och vatten has a broad and societally critical operation responsible for delivering drinking water, managing wastewater, and collecting household waste for Gothenburg residents.
The operation is primarily funded through fees.
You will become part of the Finance Department's Business Development Function. The department consists of an accounting unit, a controlling unit, and a business development function. Located in the business development function, you will report to the Finance Director. The department has approximately 20 employees working closely together, including finance assistants, economists, controllers, strategists, business developers, and object leaders. The department plays a crucial steering role in the administration's financial management and an equally important support function for various operations.
Job Responsibilities
We are now seeking an Object Leader focused on the IT support used by the organization to manage budgeting, follow-up, forecasting, analysis, time and project reporting, as well as inventory and operational planning. Our system environment is changing with new systems, integrations, and new working methods.
We offer varied work where you can combine strategic oversight with operational tasks. Kretslopp och vatten is working to implement structured management according to the PM3 model, and as an object leader, you will have an important mission to shape and implement this in close collaboration with the department's operations. During this implementation, the content of the objects may change.
Central to the assignment is developing and ensuring the implementation of an annual management plan. You will lead a management team consisting of representatives from different parts of the object. Together, you will plan, prioritize, and develop work on services in the short and long term. You will also:
- Participate in establishing new management objects and ensure management plans are developed and kept updated,
- Collaborate with object specialists on problem analysis and solutions,
- Listen to operational needs and seek solutions, both internally among our specialists and with external system suppliers.
The responsibility also includes ensuring that services comply with information security requirements and the City of Gothenburg's working methods and processes. An important part of the assignment is to drive development issues through automation and digitalization to improve efficiency.
Parallel to the object leader role, you may also be assigned project management for development projects related to digitalization.
You will be employed with the title of Development Leader.
Qualifications
We are seeking someone who has:
- Relevant university education or equivalent experience deemed comparable.
- Experience in the role of object leader, system administrator, or project manager.
- Experience in leading others to achieve common results.
- Experience working at the interface between operations and IT, with experience in a management model such as PM3.
You should have at least 10 years of experience in the above tasks.
It is meritorious if you have:
Experience working in the public sector
Familiarity with contact and collaboration with suppliers
Experience with information security work and data protection
We particularly value knowledge and experience in:
- IFS, a business system from IFS
- Change management
- Process development
- Project models such as PPS or XLPM
To succeed in the role, you need to be proactive, take initiative for change and development, and drive work forward. You have analytical ability and can identify, analyze, and draw conclusions, focusing on opportunities to think innovatively and put them into practice. You are pedagogical and able to express yourself concretely and clearly, both verbally and in writing. As you will have extensive internal and external contacts, it is important that you can develop good cooperation and relationships. You need to be service-oriented, solution-focused, and driven by helping the organization maximize the benefits of its digital solutions.
