Curious and Hands-On Production Engineer

We are now seeking a Production Engineer who will play a central role in the green energy transition by developing and optimizing production processes for key components in the global power grid. About the Role As a Production Engineer, you will become part of a team of six engineers and technicians who serve as the link between production, R&D, maintenance, and quality. You will work closely with production, alternating between practical problem-solving and analytical development work. The role involves responsibility for one or more process steps in a newly expanded capacitor factory. You will identify and drive improvements in flows, methods, and equipment - contributing to safe, efficient, and sustainable production work. Focus can be adapted to your background - for example, in production technology, process analysis, or data and systems development. Primary Responsibilities - Take technical responsibility for one or more production processes (e.g., winding, impregnation, assembly, or testing) - Identify, analyze, and drive improvements in processes, equipment, and work methods - Drive digitalization and data tracking in production using tools like Power BI - Collaborate with R&D on product and process development, both locally and globally - Develop and update instructions, control plans, and documentation - Support production in troubleshooting and quality improvements Profile - Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. (Alternatively, several years of experience as a technician in production or process development) - Experience or interest in production technology, process improvement, LEAN, or digitalization - Good proficiency with Microsoft 365, preferably Power BI - Basic understanding of databases and/or SQL - Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written - B driver's license - Experience from the automotive industry is meritorious, especially if you have worked with standardized processes (IATF, FMEA, control plans) Personal Characteristics We are seeking someone who is curious, analytical, and unpretentious.
