About this role

We are now seeking newly graduated and driven Hardware System Engineers for Advanced Programs at Saab Aeronautics in Linköping. Here you will have a unique opportunity to work on control systems for next-generation fighter aircraft, from concept and modeling to prototypes and verification. This is a role for those who want to be involved early and influence tomorrow's aviation technology. About the Role As a System Engineer at Advanced Programs, you will work with hardware components and subsystems critical to aircraft control, such as sensors, actuators, and servos. You will become part of a technology area where system engineering, hardware, modeling, and testing interact. You will work closely with technology, suppliers, and a forward-looking team. You will: • Take responsibility for hardware units in the aircraft's control systems • Perform system and component analyses • Search and evaluate technology solutions in the global market • Support procurement with technical requirements and supplier selection • Work with modeling, testing, and verification Each device becomes a technical project with high demands, significant responsibility, and many contact surfaces. You will work through the entire chain: specify, select, test, and deliver. About Saab & Advanced Programs Saab Aeronautics develops and produces world-class advanced flight systems. We are seeking candidates who have: • Engineering education in areas such as mechanical, vehicle, aerospace, technical physics, electrical engineering, electrical power, or similar • Driver's license • Good Swedish and English in speech & writing • Recently graduated or at the beginning of your career. You enjoy taking initiative, dare to question, and are open to learning new things to solve complex problems together The assignment is classified. Before employment, you will undergo a security review, which requires Swedish citizenship.
