Your Role You'll step into the heart of our technology-driven operation - the Production Technology Department at Saab Dynamics, located in the Björkborn Industrial Area, Karlskoga. Here, many skilled employees work across five sections, covering everything from test and assembly preparation to tool design and property technology. We are in an expansive phase, both increasing capacity and making long-term investments in innovation, including digitalization and increased automation. The Test Development team currently consists of several technicians and engineers, and we are now seeking additional colleagues who want to help shape the future of our test methods and systems. As a Test Engineer with us, you will: * Define and specify test methods * Develop and maintain test applications * Support ongoing production during troubleshooting * Work with continuous improvements * Participate in support trips to suppliers as needed You'll have a key role in shaping the test strategy for our products and ensuring our solutions work flawlessly - from first prototype to serial production. Your Profile We are looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative role where problem-solving, structure, and technological interest are central. You are meticulous, self-driven, and unpretentious - a team player with personal initiative and contagious curiosity. To succeed in the role, you have: * Education as an Electronics Engineer with strong programming skills * At least 3-5 years of experience working with hardware and software in complex systems * Genuine interest in technology and development * Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English We place great importance on personal characteristics and consider it crucial that you fit into the team culture - where collaboration, responsibility, and openness are the focus. Beneficial if you have: * Experience with National Instruments environments like TestStand or LabWindows/CVI * Good knowledge of C programming * Previous experience developing test equipment for production * Familiarity with requirements specification The position requires that you pass and are approved according to current security protection regulations.
