About this role

Alvesta Municipality, with approximately 20,000 residents — the heart of southern Sweden — integrates local living with global opportunities. Our position is built on high-quality municipal services, a thriving business sector, and a good mix of urban areas and countryside. Add to this a strong infrastructure with railways, airports, and a well-developed road network, and you'll understand why Alvesta Municipality is the right choice. - Large enough for ideas to be born and developed - Small enough for everyone to be seen and appreciated, with short decision-making paths In the Alvesta municipal group, we have about 2,000 employees across various professions working every day to make a difference for our residents. Our shared value foundation is “Together, we create a better everyday life for our residents and ourselves as employees. We develop through positive meetings and open dialogue. This is achieved through our values of Participation, Engagement, and Trust.” Our focus is to create the best possible municipal service for those we serve: residents, business owners, and visitors. Alvesta Municipality operates based on a governance model centered on trust-based management and focuses on Agenda 2030. Do you want to join us on our exciting journey aimed at sustainable community development? TASKS At Hagaskolan, we have a special teaching group for students who require a smaller context during the school day. The group is led by two key figures who oversee the students' school day as a whole. Additionally, we have two student assistants dedicated to the group and subject teachers responsible for teaching and assessment in various subjects. As a key person, you will be responsible for ensuring that the students' school days run smoothly, and you will participate in planning and delivering instruction. QUALIFICATIONS Different types of education may be of interest for this position. For example, you may have training as a teacher, resource educator, student assistant, or similar. Experience working in a special teaching group is advantageous. You need to have knowledge of both the school's governing documents and of students with neuropsychiatric disorders. You must be structured and flexible with strong collaborative skills, while also being able to work independently and solution-focused. We expect you to have a low-arousal approach and a salutogenic mindset based on the premise that all students want to succeed. As a person, you are flexible, proactive, and driven, with a good ability to create positive relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. We prefer candidates with experience working at the secondary school level. OTHER We kindly decline all advertising sales.
