Job Responsibilities
As a fire protection technician, your primary goal is to create safety for Brandgruppen Nord's customers. You'll work on installing and servicing equipment, checking fire protection, and performing functional tests of technical fire protection, such as fire alarms, ventilation fire protection, and first aid equipment. You'll also support customers with your expertise and provide advice on fire safety when questions arise.
The work is varied, and you'll encounter a broad range of environments and assignments - from preschools, housing associations, and restaurants to larger industries, healthcare centers, and shopping malls. The role combines practical work with customer contact, where you'll book and plan your assignments with the customer in focus. On-site, you'll look at the bigger picture, inform, and help the customer address any potential fire protection deficiencies.
You'll work from home and travel across Norrbotten, which involves travel and overnight stays. Responsibility with autonomy is a crucial part of the position - you'll plan your workday independently but always have an experienced and unpretentious team behind you.

Formal fire safety qualifications are not required - we'll provide the necessary training. However, experience in service roles, technical positions, or preventive fire protection is advantageous. The most important qualities are your mindset, attitude, and willingness to make a difference for Brandgruppen Nord's customers.
