Now we are looking for a part-time personal assistant Who am I? I am a cheerful 13-year-old girl currently searching for a new star assistant. We live in Stockholm, in the southern suburbs close to public transport, making it easy to get around! I am a positive and lively girl with a congenital brain injury. I really enjoy music, swimming, jumping, and playing on the seesaw. I love counting to ten and having fun with everyone around me! What can you do for me? In my daily life, I need a lot of help and support with most situations, such as dressing and undressing, meals, toilet visits, and medication. At times, I experience severe epilepsy and require some respiratory assistance at night, so it is important that you are attentive, responsible, and meticulous, as well as observant of seizures when I need help. I do not have spoken language, but I communicate all the time, and if you are a responsive person with a bit of patience, you will understand me just fine! I use a wheelchair for mobility. During the day, I am at school, which is a place I really enjoy. Who are you? You are an empathetic, loyal, cheerful, and warm person who is committed to your work as a personal assistant. Good physical fitness is beneficial as there will be some transfers involved in the job. Previous experience and knowledge of epilepsy and what it entails is an advantage, but not a requirement.
