NOVF is a municipal association owned by Nyköping Municipality and Oxelösund Municipality. NOVF was established in 1960 and has since then delivered water to the municipalities of Nyköping and Oxelösund. Our mission is to maintain and develop water facilities to ensure the supply of drinking water according to the municipalities' needs. We ensure that drinking water requirements are met and work towards securing a long-term and sustainable water production.
NOVF is a small organization, and several exciting projects and processes are underway. As an Operations Technician, you will be entrusted with significant responsibilities for producing safe and high-quality drinking water alongside friendly colleagues. This role offers a fun job with a lot of variety.
We are looking for someone who wants to help strengthen the organization and contribute to development work in the role of Operations Technician. As an Operations Technician, you will work both practically and administratively with the operation and maintenance of drinking water facilities. Everyone shares the responsibility to ensure that hygiene and safety routines are followed. The role also includes work with control and regulation systems, as well as sampling and operational analyses.
The position includes on-call duty. During your on-call weeks, you need to live within 45 minutes of the facilities.
The position is classified as security-sensitive and requires a security clearance, including a security interview and background check, before employment.
Since we are a small team, group dynamics are important, and personal qualities are highly valued in the recruitment process.
Examples of tasks included in the role of Operations Technician:
• Rounding and daily care and maintenance of facilities, equipment, and properties.
• Operational monitoring of facilities and analysis of operational data.
• Active participation in development work to create systematic maintenance work with follow-ups, routines, and operational instructions.
Desirable Qualifications
If you have:
• Experience from water and wastewater operations
• Experience in the manufacturing industry
• Experience working with a quality management system or operational management system
• Experience in areas such as facility management, contracting, system development, or electrical work

Qualifications
You have:
• Post-secondary education in areas such as process or technology, or work experience that the employer deems equivalent
• Good computer skills
• Strong ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
• A valid driver's license, at least category B
Employment Details
Employment type: Permanent. A 6-month probationary period applies.
Start date: According to agreement.
