About the Position
Stuveryd is a Residential Care Home (HVB) with ten places for boys and girls aged 7-12. We receive traumatized children with attachment issues and neuropsychiatric challenges.
With 20 years of experience working with children, we offer a safe, pleasant, and predictable environment where children's needs are always at the center. Our work is based on trauma-informed care, low-affective approach, and clarifying pedagogy. These approaches create stability, comprehensibility, and security in daily life – for both children and staff.
We are now seeking a Unit Manager who wants to lead and further develop our operations. As Unit Manager, you are responsible for creating stability and quality in daily work, supporting the staff group, and ensuring that the operation follows applicable laws, guidelines, and our core values.
In this position, you will be located at Stuveryd in Eksjö and report to the Operational Manager.
Your primary tasks will include:
• Driving operations based on established strategic goals
• Initiating, implementing, coordinating, and following up on daily operations and development of the organization's work in accordance with the established operational plan
• Having overall responsibility for budget, personnel, and work environment/fire safety
Qualifications
We are seeking someone with a degree in social work or another relevant academic education in social work, approved within the framework of IVO's (Inspection of Vård och Omsorg) assessment.
You have at least 3 years of experience as a Manager leading an operation within healthcare and social care. We also believe you have extensive operational experience in the healthcare and social care profession.
Documented management experience with personnel, financial, and operational responsibilities is a requirement. You are accustomed to working systematically with operational/work environment issues and other development matters. A Class B driver's license is also required.
As a person, you look at the big picture and are responsible by contributing your strategic and analytical abilities. You are good at communicating with colleagues and colleagues, are receptive to others' perspectives with good interpersonal skills. As a person, you are meticulous and service-oriented, enjoy leading others, and build relationships by being visible.
You are goal-oriented, clear, and a team player. You have the courage to think innovatively and the ability to engage both employees and managers.

Collective Agreement, Benefits & Compensation
All companies in the Novelia Group are members of Almega/Vårdföretagarna and have collective agreements according to Branch E; for this role, the collective agreement between Almega/Vårdföretagarna and the Academic Union applies.
Novelia offers a wellness contribution of 3000 SEK per worked full year.
Salary is differentiated and individual according to agreement. For this position, Novelia applies a 6-month probationary period.
