The cyber domain is one of the Armed Forces' prioritized areas, and you will participate in an organization that is developing rapidly. In your role as Cyber Coordinator at A6, the communications and information systems service division of the wing staff, you will be an essential resource in F 21's ability to defend, operate, and educate within the cyber environment.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Cyber Coordinator at F 21, you are part of the Air Force's cyber defense and play a central role in protecting and securing the Air Force's digital systems and communication platforms. In your role as a coordinator, you will lead the development of the local cyber defense capability at the unit, thus supporting the commander with technical expertise in the design of documentation, procedures, implementation of new technical solutions, and the development of future cyber defense.
The Cyber Coordinator works alongside the wing's Signals Protection Chief, IT Manager, IT Security Manager, and the unit's operations organization to plan and conduct activities within our technical systems in a secure and efficient manner, ensuring we maintain control over the cyber domain and situational awareness of how our systems are performing. The role includes building a local cybersecurity operations center from which we monitor technical systems and conduct analyses.
The role also involves ongoing development of personal knowledge and skills, as well as the opportunity to participate in exercises and missions both nationally and internationally.
Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of post-secondary education in computer engineering, data security, network technology, or equivalent knowledge in the field acquired through previous work experience
• In-depth knowledge of computers and a strong interest in computer science or computer engineering
• Proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Driver's license (B)
Meritorious:
• Experience working with IT and management support systems
• Experience in IT security or Cyber Defense
• Experience in administrative work supported by IT systems
• Educational training or experience as an instructor
Personal Attributes:
We are looking for someone who has strong collaborative skills and is skilled in administration. You should be analytical and detail-oriented, with a significant interest in cyber defense. You have good computer skills and a technical understanding. Your problem-solving ability is high, and you can work flexibly and at different paces to switch between time-sensitive and more long-term tasks. You enjoy analyzing and planning complex tasks. You are analytical, proactive, and have the capacity to work both independently and in a team. You also have a strong security awareness and a deep sense of the importance of following regulations to maintain established security requirements. We expect you to be pedagogical with strong communication skills, as the position involves tasks as an educator and collaboration with various contact points within the Armed Forces. Personal suitability will be a significant consideration.

Permanent employment starting with a 6-month probationary period.
The position is a civilian full-time position.
Start date: as soon as possible upon agreement.
Work location: Luleå.
The position requires ongoing training, further education, and other activities involving travel outside the workplace. Employment follows the obligation to participate in training, exercises, and missions, both domestically and internationally. The position is part of the wing's combat unit with the mission to establish air bases both nationally and internationally under field conditions.
