About this role

Now, there is an opportunity to step into the center of events as a new Production Specialist with us at the Woodland area of Southern Norrbotten. As a Production Specialist, you can expect a work environment that is both diverse and filled with opportunities. You will enjoy plenty of time outdoors in the forest while collaborating closely with colleagues and contractors. Your responsibilities include: • Land planning and preparation for logging: You will be responsible for planning and preparing logging operations, ensuring everything is ready for execution. • Environmental planning and logging planning: You will be involved in planning to protect the environment and ensure that all work processes are efficient. • Road and landing responsibility: You will ensure that roads and landings are in good condition for transporting timber, and if necessary, you will take the initiative for preparatory actions. • Support to the Production Manager: You play an important role in the production team, responsible for several machine teams in planning routes and access. We believe that you have a forestry education with relevant experience for the role. To succeed in this position, you should have strong forestry knowledge in timber assessment, logging techniques, and load-bearing capacity evaluation. Proficiency in environmental planning and digital land planning is also required. In the role of Production Specialist, communication and proactivity are two key factors, as you will work closely with our forest inspectors and have regular contact with both landowners and contractors.
