Description Önneredsskolan is a preschool through 9th grade school located in western Gothenburg in a scenic area with close access to forest and sea. A teacher is moving on to other assignments, and we are seeking her replacement to teach at the intermediate level at our fantastic school. Work Tasks As a teacher at Önneredsskolan, you are passionate about teaching and guiding students towards established goals according to current curriculum and educational guidelines. Your teaching is structured, and you follow up and analyze your teaching and students' results. In your professional role, you are responsible for creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment. In this teaching role, you will work with students in grades 4-6 and have responsibility for teaching and mentorship in one grade level, currently grade 4. You will be an important part of our pedagogical activities and create a positive and inspiring learning environment. It is also your responsibility to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages students to want to learn. Qualifications We are seeking a licensed teacher qualified to teach at the intermediate level, preferably with a combination of music. You should be well-versed in the curriculum and other governing documents and have good knowledge and willingness to work with digital learning materials in teaching. You need to speak and write Swedish fluently. As a person, you are attentive and have good collaborative skills with students, colleagues, and guardians. You are a confident employee with natural leadership in the classroom, demonstrating the ability to take initiative and be flexible when the situation requires it.
