**Description**
We are looking for someone who wants to take full responsibility for the financial operations - from bookkeeping to analysis. You will also be seen as the face of the company and the one who coordinates administration, communication, and internal follow-up. At Ånge Energi, you will work in an independent role with both operational responsibilities and strategic elements in a business with high-quality demands and short decision-making paths.
**About the Role**
As an Accountant, you will be responsible for the company's accounting, year-end closing, and reporting. You will work operationally and independently, but closely with colleagues in a non-hierarchical team. The work will take place on-site at Ånge Energi's office in Fränsta. Initially, you will work alongside our current part-time administrator in finance and other administrative tasks.
**Main Responsibilities**
- Responsible for accounting, year-end closing, and annual reports for Ånge Energi and two to three associations managed by Ånge Energi.
- Overall responsibility for accounts payable and receivable, as well as project accounting and VAT management.
- Responsible for information security and data protection.
- Reporting to authorities.
- Providing support to the CEO and district heating manager on financial and strategic matters, as well as developing digital routines and processes.
**Qualifications**
- Degree in finance or accounting at a post-secondary level.
- Several years of experience in accounting and financial work in a broad role, preferably from small to medium-sized companies in the energy sector or related fields.
- Comfortable with the entire process - from ongoing bookkeeping to year-end closing and reporting.
- Proficient in working with finance-related systems and developing routines and processes for efficient workflows.
- Analytical skills and an interest in interpreting numbers, identifying connections, and contributing insights to the business.
You are a humble, structured, and solution-oriented team player with the ability to take significant personal responsibility. You are inspired to work on modernizing and developing the various systems and methods used by the business.
**Benefits**
As an employee of Ånge Energi, you will receive an annual wellness allowance and have the opportunity for a wellness hour.
