Approximately 3,000 employees work with us every day to provide high-quality, safe specialist healthcare. About Us We are looking for a neurologist to join our outpatient clinic. The position is part of the neurological team within the Geriatrics, Neurology, and Rehabilitation operational area. The neurology clinic serves both primary and secondary care. The focus of our work is on patients with epilepsy and Parkinson's disease. The team includes nurses, doctors, neuropsychologists, speech therapists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, coordinators, and medical secretaries. In our multidisciplinary team, we have the opportunity to collaborate through short processing pathways in the care of patients with multiple health issues. Angered Local Hospital (ANS) was completed in 2015. The hospital is a central part of the initiative to develop local healthcare for approximately 100,000 residents in northeastern Gothenburg. Job Responsibilities - Specialist care, outpatient only, daytime, Monday to Friday. - Clinic work. - Ensure that diagnostics and treatment are conducted according to current guidelines and recommendations. - Contribute to the professional development of staff. - Be readily available for consultations regarding neurological conditions. About You - Licensed physician with specialist competence in neurology. - Interest in development and innovation. - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. - Strong social skills and collaborative ability are highly valued. - Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is required. Additional language skills are considered an advantage. The operations at ANS are based on patient needs and should be diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive, with a strong focus on quality.
